2026 Scholarship Recipients
$18,000 in Scholarships Awarded
On Friday, May 29, Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union (Cy-Fair FCU), in partnership with The Partin Foundation, the Miller family, and the Dickey family, proudly awarded 12 scholarships totaling $18,000. Cy-Fair FCU’s scholarship program began in 1992, and to date, the credit union has provided vital financial assistance to 250 students, contributing over $292,500 towards their higher education aspirations.
Cy-Fair FCU Community Quill Scholarship ($1,500)
The Community Quill Scholarship was awarded to Angela. This scholarship honors the legacy of our most recent Community Quill Award recipient, given annually to individuals who make sustained, exemplary contributions to the local community. Lauren Black of Reach Unlimited was the most recent recipient of the Community Quill Award for her profound impact on local education and our community.

Cy-Fair FCU Membership Scholarship ($1,500)
Brandon was awarded this scholarship, open to graduating seniors who are Cy-Fair FCU members or have an immediate family member with an account. His application stood out for his commendable efforts within his school and community.

Sebastian received this scholarship designed for bilingual students in Harris and Waller Counties who completed ESL or NAC programs. Sebastian was honored for his perseverance and academic success.

This scholarship commemorates the historic founding of PVAMU and Prairie View FCU. Savyour received this scholarship in recognition of his accomplishments that reflect the legacy of excellence at Prairie View A&M University.

Kimberly A. Dickey Memorial Scholarship ($1,500)
This scholarship commemorates the life of Kimberly Dickey. Because Kimberly was an accomplished artist, as well as the beneficiary of many kind, knowledgeable medical professionals, consideration for this scholarship was given to any graduating high school senior planning to pursue either a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree or a Bachelors in a Healthcare field.
