Our Skinner Rd location will no longer accept coins.

With diminishing consumer need for loose coin processing, our Skinner Financial Center is following in the footsteps of all of our other Financial Centers as a coinless branch.   Like traveler’s checks, deposit slips, and old ten-key adding machines, services such as bulk loose coin processing have declined substantially and CFFCU is adapting accordingly.   By letting go of costly, low-use services,  the credit union continues to add exciting,  competitive new ones such as Zelle, Remote Deposit Capture, and our market-leading Z-Checking account.  Changes like these are the result of careful consideration and study.   As a financial cooperative, our goal is to provide life-long value to our CFFCU members and adapt to your changing needs.   Coin handling by credit unions and banks have been steadily declining due to several factors, including shifts in consumer behavior, technological advancements, and the inherent challenges of handling coins. The pandemic accelerated these trends, leading to shortages and reduced demand for coin services.  Members with this need can find easy-to-use coin kiosks at Kroger and other nearby grocery stores for a small fee.
