Cy-Fair FCU Awards $10,000 Trip to New York at CFEF Salute to the Stars Gala

Cypress, TX – March 5, 2026 – Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union (Cy-Fair FCU) is thrilled to announce that the winner of a $10,000 trip to New York was Tache Battiste of Anthony Middle School. The grand prize was given away at the conclusion of the Cy-Fair Education Foundation (CFEF) Salute to the Stars gala, an event celebrating the outstanding contributions of teachers, para-educators, and support staff within the Cy-Fair Independent School District (CFISD).

As the proud underwriter of this spectacular event, Cy-Fair FCU extended its heartfelt appreciation to all the honorees who make a significant impact within the Cy-Fair school district. Nearly 100 honorees were recognized at the gala, each entered into Cy-Fair FCU’s grand prize drawing for a chance to win the trip of a lifetime. Large marquee letters spelling out "I ❤ NYC" and a Statue of Liberty replica were positioned near the stage, heightening the anticipation and excitement for the thrilling giveaway.

To ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience, Cy-Fair FCU has partnered with Jennifer Ehlers of Plans2Travel, who also works for CFISD and is a fellow Spotlight Honoree, to assist in planning Tache’s dream trip to New York.
